Giclee Printing: The prints that you will be ordering will be printed with a Giclee printer. Giclee printing is a high-quality digital printing method that uses inkjet printers to create prints on high-quality watercolor paper. The term comes from the French word gicleur, which means “to spray.”
The overall aim is to make each giclee print as faithful as possible to the original painting, particularly in color. Therefore, the best that we can achieve is a print that resembles the original, that is close enough for the purchaser to accept it as being faithful.
Art Care: Since light is a major catalyst, watercolors should be kept out of direct light and protected by a sheet of filtered glass or acrylic. They should also be mounted on acid-free mat boards to keep the paper from discoloring over time.
